By booking in this repair, you are accepting these terms and conditions and understand what they mean and how this may affect your repair. Any questions you have about them should be asked before the repair in case you are unsure of how this may affect you, if these questions are not asked before, the company accepts no responsibility nor liability on account of any sort of confusion or misunderstanding.
1. We shall make all reasonable efforts to repair your equipment subject to the availability of any parts required and/or the terms of any relevant guarantee or warranty. We shall perform the service using upmost responsibility, care and skill.
2. We will only guarantee the repair that has been booked in, we cannot accept liability for other faults which occur on other components in the device, and these are fully chargeable if you would like us to carry out the full repair.
3. We shall notify you when the equipment has been repaired and is available for collection, if you do not collect the equipment or lias with us on a scheduled collection date within 12 days of the repair being completed we may dispose of the equipment. Any sum obtained on the disposal will be used to meet any unpaid estimate or repair charges you are liable to pay, and any remaining balance will be sent to you or will remain payable by you accordingly.
4. If we are unable to complete the service for any reason, or the service will incur further costs payable by you, we will notify you immediately.
5. If the equipment develops an additional fault unrelated to the original repair, the repair warranty will not apply, and you will have to pay for the repair.
6. We may in certain circumstances send your equipment to another repair centre and sub-contract the repair work to a third party.
7. If we are unable to repair your equipment, no fault is found on your equipment or you do not accept our estimate, we will return your equipment unaltered.
8. If you are not willing to go forward with any repair on your equipment, we reserve the right to charge a diagnostic fee (if diagnosis is applicable) fixed at a standard rate of £15 payable by yourself. If within the next 21 days, you decide you do in fact want to go on with this repair the diagnostic fee you paid will be deducted to the total cost of the repair. Any longer than the 21 days given this fee will not be deducted and the full cost of the repair will be payable by you.
9. we may keep your equipment until all charges payable have been paid. [please refer to point 3 for terms of collections]
10. Any data or information that you may have stored on the equipment shall remain your sole responsibility and we will not accept any liability for the loss or corruption of such data howsoever caused. It is your responsibility to keep a record of such data.
11. If your equipment is in a state where a pre-test cannot be done before the repair, we will not accept any liability for damage that was not stated before the repair and you will have to pay all costs occurred during the repair even if the phone is still in this state unless the repair can be undone and we as a company are not at a loss.
